The modern estate should flow without friction. We analyze how "invisible thresholds" allow residents to move between indoor and outdoor zones without sensory interruption. By aligning floor levels and material finishes across the glass line, the perceived footprint of the home doubles in size. This fluidity encourages a lifestyle that is unconstrained by the traditional boundaries of four walls. It turns the simple act of walking through a home into a graceful, cinematic experience.
SPATIAL HIERARCHY
Not all rooms are created equal. We discuss the importance of the "Great Room" as a central nervous system for the home, branching into private sanctuaries.
